What we collect

  • Name and email when you download a free resource or reveal your results in the AI Pattern Checker.
  • Contact-form details you choose to give us: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, degree level, university or organization, thesis stage, analysis software, deadline, and your message.
  • Booking data collected by Calendly when you book a discovery call — typically your name, email, and the time you selected.

Why we collect it

To deliver the service you asked for — replying to your enquiry, sending the resource you requested, and holding your booked call — and to send you our newsletter of research tips and free templates. We do not use your details for anything else.

Text you paste into the AI Pattern Checker

Text you paste into the AI Pattern Checker is analyzed entirely in your own browser. It is never stored, never transmitted to us, and never sent to any third party or external service. Close the tab and it is gone. Only the name and email you enter to reveal your results reach us.

We never sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only outside services that see your details are the tools we use to run the practice — such as Calendly for bookings, our email provider, and website analytics — and they act on our instructions only.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@probitresearch.com at any time to unsubscribe, to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We action deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Kenyan data protection law

Probit Research complies with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. We collect the minimum data needed, keep it only as long as it is useful to you, and give you the access, correction, and deletion rights the Act provides. If you believe we have handled your data poorly, write to us first — we would rather fix it directly.

Cookies and analytics

We use basic website analytics to understand which pages are useful. This records aggregate visit information, not your identity, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
